I love being a babysitter because it reminds me when my parents were working and I had to take care of my siblings when they were little. It also helps me be reminded of the comfort you feel when making a kid feel loved and valued in the environment your setting. I have experienced babysitting kids from the ranging age of an infant to middle school aged kid. Some of the skills that I have while babysitting is if the kid needs help with going to the bathroom and cleaning them after it; I also have experience with making lunch/dinner for the kids and feeding them if needed. With the older kids a have had help with their homework in either English or Spanish. For the younger kids I also have experience with having them have some hands-on projects related with creativity and them expressing themselves; as well as some methods to have their emotions under control like counting to 5 or the breath in and breath out method.
