Write a messageHello families! My name is Livvy and I’m from Southern Massachusetts, right near Rhode Island (the largest town in MA! Haha!) I attended Baldwin Wallace Conservatory for Musical Theater and moved to NYC four days after graduation in 2017. Since then, I’ve been splitting my time as a professional actor and nanny.
I started working with children in undergrad when my voice teacher needed extra help with his son and I fell in love with the job. My first NYC position was a standard after-school pickup schedule with two incredible middle/ elementary girls that I still keep in touch with (the oldest is in college now!) My responsibilities included homework, house management, playdates, scheduling, the works. After they grew up, I moved on to full time nannying with some tutoring/babysitting to supplement. I was with my UWS family through the pandemic, the birth of a second child, and a move to NJ. When I started they had one son, 4 months old, who changed my life. He ended up requiring special needs care as he got older and I loved bringing him to speech and OT, as well as socially distant music classes outside. We did it all— changing diapers, nap time, playdates, playground activities. I even got to be there for his very first snow day. After their move, I started with another 4 month old baby in East Village. She was such a hoot and her parents worked very full time as content creators so my workload was all encompassing and very gratifying. With all of our weekend traveling, full days out of the house, and group activities, we never missed a nap time due to sheer exhaustion! It was a blast. She also lives in NJ now but I look forward to watching her grow up and visiting when I can!
I have worked with so many families over the years it’s hard to keep track but I now have experience with every age group from infancy to high school and I feel supremely confident and ready to handle any situation that comes my way.
I was born with open arms and a voracious appetite for human connection and I consider these little humans to be the most important of all. I firmly believe that organization and preparation opens the doors for safety in exploration and spontaneity. My goal is to be an open book and trusted resource as we navigate the challenges and joyful moments of your little one’s life!
