Hi! My name is Shannon and I’m a 27 year old social worker looking for part-time babysitting work as I pay off my student loans. A little background on myself, I’m a social worker at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Park Slope, Brooklyn and have lived in Brooklyn my entire life. I am very open-minded, organized, caring, and reliable. I have experience with children aged two weeks and older. I began babysitting locally for preschool and elementary school children about 13 years ago as a freshman in high school and through graduate school. While studying for the LMSW licensing exam, I worked in the nursery at The Motherhood Center in Manhattan taking care of postpartum mother’s babies while they attended the day program. I enjoy working with children of all ages!

I work 9-5 Monday through Friday, but am available for weeknight evenings (5:30 and later) and the occasional weekend, so I would be a great fit for any family looking for a date night babysitter! I am open to a weekly, consistent schedule, or just as needed! I am looking forward to meeting your family! :)
