Hey! My name is Shelcid (pronounced Chelsea) and I am currently a junior living on campus at SUNY New Paltz. I love working with kids! Growing up, I would help my mother as she also took care of kids so I am quite familiar with the responsibilities, not to mention I am an older sister myself. I work as a tutor for sixth and seventh grade English and history during the school year. I am also a former girl scout that assisted younger troops on overnight camping trips. My future career goals involve counseling and helping troubled youth so it is safe to say that I do not scare easy! I am calm, patient, yet confident in my ability to be in control in any situation.
