Hi! My name is Alexis, and I’m a 26-year-old female with tons of childcare experience, from watching younger siblings, family members, family friends, etc., to being a paid mother’s helper of 3 kids under 10 by 16 years old, to becoming an admin. assistant to a teacher of all tiny ones! My experience with young children knows no bounds, I’ve dealt with infants, terrific twos, preschoolers, middle schoolers, including neurodivergent children with different mental or physical needs!
Working with children and pets has always and will always come naturally to me, as caretaking has been instilled into me at a very young age! Similarly to mi casa es su casa, your kids will be treated like my own kids! And that is with love, respect, and kindness! I was a mandated reporter; therefore, I know the importance of child safety and make it a huge priority! I am a huge advocate for positive reinforcements; it means rewarding positive actions to encourage them to happen again when it comes to both children and animals, as most don’t have the privilege of experiencing learning from their mistakes without the looming threat of fear and guilt of their actions and reactionary consequences.
