My name is Alexia, Im 27 years old, Im from Argentina. I like being a babysitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I love to see how they learn, grow and discover the world in their own way. Every day with them is an opportunity to share, teach and also learn. I feel happy to be able to provide you with a safe, fun and loving environment. In addition, it gives me great satisfaction to know that I can support families and generate trust through responsible and loving care.
In January 2023 I came to the United States with the Au Pair in America program to make my dream come true of being able to live with an american family and learn about American culture. I worked with them for two years taking care of three children aged 6,7 and 9, it was a wonderful experience, I loved being able to take care of them all that time.
My job was to pick them up from school, prepare their snack in the afternoons, take them to their activities, prepare dinner for them and put them to sleep. I also tidied their rooms and do laundry.
I also did errands for the family, such as going to the supermarket, to the post office, UPS, taking the children to their medical shifts, walking the dogs they had, as well as taking care of them when they traveled, I have taken the family to the airports JFK and La Guardia many times. I have also taken the cars to the size for maintenance.
My skills are driving, I have been driving since 2021 in Argentina and since 2023 here. I also love cooking from scratch, I can communicate well in English, I also know how to swim. I know about first aid since in Argentina I studied podiatry at university, there I learned a lot about medicine.
