Hello! My name is Jayqwan, but I prefer to be called Jay. I am a highly motivated and experienced sports coach with a passion for engaging children through physical activity, games, and educational experiences. Currently, I manage a recess enrichment program and an after-school program at an elementary school, where I design and facilitate age-appropriate activities that keep kids active, entertained, and learning.

I specialize in sports-based activities such as basketball, soccer, hockey, and handball, and I also offer additional services, including:

Babysitting: Creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children.
Drop-offs and Pick-ups: Managing safe transportation for kids.
Sports Coaching: Teaching kids how to play and enjoy sports, focusing on teamwork, skill-building, and having fun.
Park Visits & Walks: Encouraging outdoor play and exploration.
I am fully vaccinated (including the booster) and understand the importance of safety and health, particularly in todays world. My work schedule allows me to be available before and after my primary job from 10:30 AM to 5:00/5:45 PM on weekdays. Additionally, I have extensive experience running weekend programs for youth in hockey, basketball, pickleball, and flag football, as well as organizing sports-themed birthday parties that are tailored to create memorable experiences for children. During the summer, I serve as a volleyball instructor at a camp, teaching young athletes the fundamentals of the sport in a fun and dynamic way.

Sports and physical activity have always been a core part of my life. From competing in track events in high school and college to working in youth sports programs, I bring a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude to everything I do. I also enjoy a variety of activities outside of sports, such as playing Nintendo games, board/card games, building with Legos, dancing, arts and crafts, running, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
