I’ve always loved working with children from a very young age which is why I decided to pursue a career in childhood education. Being a sitter allows me to interact with and make a difference on a more personal level which is not only very satisfying as an education major but also satisfying as a person who simply just cares about a child’s development. I have a year’s worth of experience in sitting/nannying two boys aged 5 and 8. I was responsible for picking them up from their bus stop after school, helping with homework, preparing meals, dropping them off at their piano lessons, and also leading play time whether that would be indoors or outdoors. I also have experience in tutoring for a year, specifically in reading proficiency. I study childhood education so I offer knowledge not only in how to aid in a child’s learning and education but also knowledge in development and ways to nurture it.
