just a job for me, it is an experience. As adults, we feel the impact of our childhoods every day as it is what molds us into the people we are now. That is one of the key reasons that I decided that I want to be a positive part of a child’s upbringing. Ialways aim to be more than just a caregiver in the child’s life but someone they can trust and depend on.
While working in different fields lalways found myself gravitating to positions that allowed me to be around youth. For the past 4 years Thave been babysitting for families on call whenever my servic is needed and in last 2 years, Thave been a live-in nanny for a family with two children. I have complete tasks such as safely transporting children to and from school, activities, and medical appointments. In addition to ensuring parents are always up to date with any necessary information. Itake over with aft school homework help, modeling appropriate behaviors, serving healthy and balanced meals, and coordinating playdates allowing the children to maintain friendships.
