I love being a sitter because I love making kids laugh and smile and feel protected and love. At the same time I find it more easy and more enjoyable to take care of kids because they might be loud and chaotic but they understand you and follow you when they know they are already misbehaving. The experience I have is not a lot but more on family ties. Ever since I was 12 Im always the one who babysit my nieces and nephews and when I was 13 I moved to America and my grandmother was a baby sitter but she cant carry or hold kids anymore so she assigned me to be the person to baby sitter the children. It felt like I was in a daycare because I was taking care of a baby that is 10 month old only and another baby theyre siblings one is 1 year old and the other one was 2 years old and it was not easy but it was not hard because they were discipline to have nap times in the afternoon so my duty is only to prepare their food and they take naps and before their parents pick them up theyre all cleaned up and changed. Also I sometimes give them activities like coloring book.
My skills is to make sure they eat on time and note the allergies a child have and make sure I create a fun interactive activities for the child make sure they dont get hurt and also make sure they are cleaned before leaving and when the child is sleeping instead of slumping around I like to clean the house clean the toys do the duties I need to do which I cant do when the kid is around
