Ive been babysitting since I was thirteen, starting as a mothers helper, where I played with kids while their parents worked from home. In high school, I became the go-to sitter in my neighborhood, earning trusted recommendations from families.
Even during college at the University of Maryland, I made time to come home on some weekends to babysit.
