Hi! My name is Francesca and I have 2 yrs experience babysitting, 4 yrs experience as a summer camp counselor, and 6 yrs experience as a lifeguard. I’ve always loved working with children and find myself able to easily connect with them deeply through mutual respect and attention. From my experience, I quickly learned that children are much smarter than one may take for their age, and talking down to them results in a lack of confidence, detrimental at such developmental states. Because of this, I make it a priority to treat each child with the utmost respect and care, paying attention to each creative idea, question, etc. that pops into their minds. I think freedom of expression is very important to feel at a young age, and therefore am enthusiastic to allow the children I’m around to have fun in their own ways, within the realms of safety. As my time as a lifeguard, I’ve been certified three times for CPR and first aid, however my experience is expired at this current moment.
