Hello! I have over 2 years of experience working for Nassau BOCES with special needs children aged anywhere from 5 up to 16. This was in a school environment so it also consisted engaging with many mainstream students as well. I am a certified bus matron so I was also tasked with ensuring the safety of the children when riding the bus and making sure that they were taken care of. Additionally, on Sundays I volunteer at my local church in the childrens ministry consisting of kids from the ages of anywhere from 5 to 13. I have such a sweet spot in my heart for kids! They are truly amazing. I also have experience babysitting my neighbors two daughters in the past. For added details, I run an online business which is why I will not be working at BOCES this upcoming school year which opens up my schedule greatly during the week. Due to this online work my schedule will be very flexible and I can accommodate changes in hours/and or days to best accommodate you and your situation (i.e: running late, needing me earlier, etc.).
