I am a psychologist with a psychoanalytic orientation and over 10 years of experience supporting childrens emotional worlds with depth, sensitivity, and creativity. My work goes far beyond day-to-day care I offer emotionally attuned presence, therapeutic listening, and containment that allows each child to be fully themselves, free of pressure, judgment, or imposed expectations.
Ive worked in university hospitals, emergency units, schools, and private homes, accompanying clinical processes, transitional phases, and emotionally complex situations in childhood. My degree in Clinical Psychology has been verified by WES (World Education Services) under my maiden name, Beatriz E. Jaramillo, and is enriched by additional training in emotional development, therapeutic play, and psychoeducational tools centered on the inner life of children.
I work with children between the ages of -1 and 12, adapting each interaction to their developmental stage, temperament, and personal way of being. I integrate symbolic play, storytelling, art, emotional regulation, and affective containment as therapeutic bridges. I can provide gentle, emotionally informed support during school adaptation, fear and anxiety management, grief processes, bedtime routines, hyperactivity, or simply offer a nurturing space where a child feels truly seen and held.
Spanish is my first language, and Im actively developing my professional English. While Im still building fluency, I communicate with care, clarity, and genuine intention. My emotional presence, intuition, and ability to connect with children transcend words and I continue to grow each day to better serve bilingual families with warmth and professionalism.
