Hello! My name is Darby, and I have always loved working with children. I believe that they are incredibly important and deserving of all the love and respect in the world. It is important to me to help kids learn to love and respect themselves and their bodies and boundaries.
While new to professional childcare in the city, when I was younger I had multiple positions at summer camps, caring for groups of 8-10 kids at a time. I also have had much experience babysitting around my neighborhood and interacting with children.
I am an actor and artist with a very creative mind, and am skilled at creative problem-solving and finding new and exciting ways to engage children. From playtime, to story time, to handling tough emotions, I’m always down to try something new and find what works with every family. I have experience with housekeeping, and love to cook. The kitchen is one of the places I’m most comfortable in any house!
