Hello, my name is Israeljah, and I am passionate about nurturing, inspiring, and educating children. I find immense joy in guiding them through their developmental milestones, from learning to tie their shoes to mastering their ABCs and developing problem-solving skills.

My journey in childcare began at the age of 13 when I started babysitting, entrusted by my middle school teachers and my mother’s friends with children ranging from 4 months to 8 years old. As I gained experience, I transitioned into working as a summer camp counselor before pursuing higher education.

Currently, I serve as an after-school theatre teacher for Kindergarten through 2nd grade at a charter school in Harlem, NY. I have extensive experience working with children facing behavioral, social, and educational challenges, as well as those navigating language barriers, including Mandarin Chinese. My approach is rooted in patience, empathy, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring the well-being and development of every child in my care.
