I am a 31 year old recent graduate of Fordham Universitys Graduate School of Education where I obtained a degree in School Counseling. Prior to attending graduate school, I worked for over half a decade helping run after-school programs and working as a peer mentor and care manager with children and young adults living with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and learning disabilities. I have additionally worked as a babysitter during my time as a graduate student in NYC.

I love working with children and adolescents and believe I bring a sense of empathy and curiosity that enables me to build a trusting and successful relationship with the children and young adult with whom Ive worked. I understand that every kid is different and try to adapt my style best match what is most effective for each childs personality and needs.

I am currently in the job search for a position in school counselingor related workin the NYC metro schools. I am currently available at any time but, my hope is to continue part-time babysitting during available hours (evenings and/pr weekends) whenever I get a full time position.

(I am additionally a lover of animals. I have a pet cat Freya, and prior to that had a pet chihuahua and pet rabbit (both recently deceased) for a decade who I adored. I sometimes brought the pet rabbit as a therapy bunny to sessions when I worked as a care manager with children. I am happy to provide additional support with pet care if this is something your family needs.)
