I am a college senior studying Psychology with a strong interest in Child Psychology and Development. Im excited to offer my childcare services to families in need of a responsible, creative, and caring sitter. With 6 years of experience working with kids in both educational and recreational settings, Ive developed a strong passion for creating safe and fun environments where children can learn, grow, and play. At my most recent job at the Aquarium, I interacted with families and children on a daily basis. Whether guiding them through exhibits, leading interactive discussions, or organizing hands-on activities, I made sure that kids were not only having fun but also learning something new. This role helped me build strong communication skills and taught me how to quickly adapt to the needs of different children.
My experience as a Camp and Afterschool Counselor taught me how to engage kids from kindergarten to 5th grade in a variety of fun and educational activities. I developed lesson plans in STEM, arts and crafts, and social studies, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving while keeping everything enjoyable and interactive. I always focused on promoting positive behavior through encouragement and reinforcement, ensuring that every child felt included and respected.
