Hello! I work a full-time remote job during the week and am offering services for as-needed babysitting for parents’ night out, etc. on evenings and weekends. I worked for two summers as a counselor at the University of Virginia’s summer enrichment program, where I was fully responsible for 8-10 preteen girls round-the-clock. It was my responsibility as counselor to meet the campers’ mental, social, emotional, and academic needs. I was responsible for administering daily medications to campers who needed it. I also constructed and taught a class to teach to 15 gifted students which I think will help keep me the children’s developmental progress in mind in helping them choose their activities. I also worked as a volunteer at my previous gym’s childcare center, where I cared for children aged from infancy to 12 years old. I also enrolled in a Teacher Cadet program in high school where I spent mornings in an elementary school working with special education students. I am a certified substitute teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia, the ninth largest school district in the US. I was routinely requested by teachers I developed working relationships with to cover their classes in their absence. I have been “freelance” babysitting for over eight years and have experienced a wide variety of family dynamics and children.

Rate: $21/hour – $30/hour
