Why do you love being a sitter?
I love being a sitter because I get to create a fun and safe space for kids to learn, grow, and just be themselves. My journey with childcare started back in high school when I volunteered in my churchs kids ministry. Now, as a second-year dental student at Rutgers, I still find so much joy in working with kids. Its incredibly rewarding to be a positive part of their lives and see them thrive.

What experience do you have?
Ive had a lot of experience working with kids of all ages! In high school, I volunteered in my churchs kids ministry, where I worked with children aged 2 to 12, helping with activities and ensuring they were happy and engaged. Ive also had paid babysitting gigs, including caring for babies under a year old. These experiences taught me how to manage everything from playtime to bedtime routines with care and patience.

What skills and training do you have?
– Im patient, organized, and great at keeping kids entertained with fun and age-appropriate activities.
– I have strong time management skills, balancing my dental school responsibilities and my passion for childcare.
– Im friendly and approachable, making it easy for kids to feel comfortable and parents to trust me.

Training:
– Im certified in CPR and First Aid, so safety is always my priority.
– Im experienced with infant care, from feeding to soothing babies to sleep.
Extra: I am fluent in both English and Spanish
