Hello, my name is Ciani.
Im 29, a former National Guardsman, and a devoted lover of children and the arts. In my free time, I enjoy reading, dancing, attending plays, and advocating for those who have suffered from narcissistic abuse. Im also well-versed with pets, as I have two cats of my own.
I have nine years of experience caring for children ranging from 3 months to 9 years old (non-consecutively). My background also includes educational experience, having completed developmental courses in school (covering infancy through adolescence), along with holding a valid CPR and First Aid certification for both pediatric and adult care (valid until August 2026)which I am happy to provide upon request.
Currently, alongside working with a nanny network to provide childcare assistance (Care for Business), I work as a paraprofessional, supporting children with autism who require emotional and/or verbal assistance. This role has been incredibly eye-opening and deeply rewarding. It has allowed me to further refine my skills, expand my patience, and develop an even greater appreciation for the unique abilities and perspectives of all children. I genuinely believe children are some of lifes greatest teachers, and being part of their growth is a privilege.
I also hold a drivers license (acquired in my home state of Delaware at age 16) with a clean driving record. My previous experience as an Army Food Service Specialist (92G) and working in restaurants equips me with the skills to prepare and cook meals occasionally or as needed. Most importantly, I am eager to support and contribute to the developmental goals you have for your child(ren) with empathy, creativity, and dedication.

**I would like to note that my minimum availability for assistance is four (4) hours per visit. For any engagements shorter than four hours, a flat rate of $100 will apply.
