Hello there! My name is Mia and I am a final semester senior studying Visual Studies at the Tyler School of Art. With future endeavors towards a certificate in art education, I find working with children to be an ongoing inspiration.

I have a passion for nurturing the growth of children’s development of personal values. With an emphasis on genuine interactions, my thoughtful approach to childcare facilitates personal growth and comfortability.

I have worked with children within a multitude of settings. This includes after-school help and tutoring, summer time nanny positions, on-call babysitter, and as an employee of a daycare/PreK. I have received all PA childcare clearances and completed a college level child development course.

No matter where I have worked with kids, I set out to cultivate an environment that is fearless and powered by mutual respect. I do this by engaging the children in ways to encourage empathy. I want to act as a support for children to explore their personal identities through creativity and curiosity.
