Hi My name is Ameriah i currently go to Ccac for nursing and i watch my little sister for a side job while im currently enrolled , im almost finished with my first semester going into my second semester I will be doing online so i will have extra time on my hands , to find another job or try to do things to help people with my extra time . I love being a sitter because it allows me to connect with children and make a positive impact on their lives. Watching them grow, learn, and develop new skills is incredibly heart warming . Each day brings new experiences and challenges, which keeps the job exciting and fulfilling. Plus I just enjoy being around kids in general . Im with my little sister every time of the day and she is 1 . In terms of experience, I have been babysitting for 3 years starting with my younger cousins and then expanding to neighbors and family friends. I have cared for children of various ages, from infants to 12 , which has given me a broad understanding of different developmental stages and needs. Additionally, I have volunteered at local summer camps and after-school programs, and it helped my ability to manage groups of children and working with kids who have disabilities also
As for skills and training, I am working on getting my cpr and first just in case for emergencies of course which help me understand the best ways to support and nurture children. My strong communication skills allow me to interact effectively with both kids and parents, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and informed. Overall, my blend of experience, skills makes me well equipped to provide excellent care as a sitter.
