Hello- I had 5 years experience as a live-in nanny before my 24 years experience as a PreK (3-5 years old) educator. I am also a mom of two grown men who are compassionate, kind, respectful, humble, good communicators, college educated and successful in their careers. That means, I have raised well-mannered children as their mother with a loving heart. As an educator my main priority were my student’s health and safety under my care. My goal as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher was to help my students build a positive relationships with their peers and adult through their social/emotional developmental skills. I also get them ready for kindergarten through educational curriculum. During my time as a teacher, I also worked part time as an after school care nanny. My job was to pick up children from school, drive them to after-school activities, and is responsible for their health and safety until their parents comes home from work.
I recently retired from teaching. I am looking for either a part time or full time work as a nanny/babysitter. It’s the love working with children that I know I am good at. Please consider me to be part of your family and I hope to hear from you.
