Hi! My name is Alyssa Alayon and Im a college student currently attending SUNY Geneseo. Ill be transferring back home soon, which means I have open availability and am excited to start babysitting in the area!
Growing up with a younger sister and many baby cousins, Ive always been surrounded by children and naturally stepped into a caretaker role as the oldest in my family. I babysat two children for a family friend over the course of three years, and I also worked as a camp counselor at World of Discovery in Bayside, where I took care of a group of energetic 6-year-olds.
In addition to my childcare experience, Ive worked professionally as an assistant hiring manager at a dental office in NYC. Im bilingual in Spanish and English, comfortable cooking, and happy to help with homework or engage in fun, active playespecially volleyball, which I played throughout high school.
I genuinely enjoy babysitting because I believe every child is unique and deserves care that supports their growth and personality. With a mom who was an elementary school teacher and tutor, Ive learned the importance of patience, learning, and fun in a childs daily life.
