Hello, Welcome to Childcare Network! My name is Leah Davis and I am the proud Director here at school #240. I have been with the Childcare Network family since 2011. I hold an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education with certifications in Administration as well as Special Needs. Early Childhood has always been a very important part of my life. I chose this career path over 20 years ago and it is my passion for educating young children that continues to drive my desire to provide a high quality learning environment for the children of Gaston County and surrounding areas.At our school, we recognize that each child is an individual with different needs and ways of learning. Thats why we strive to create a safe, loving, and fun atmosphere that encourages children to confidently explore learning at their own pace. When children feel a sense of acceptance at a young age it helps to promote their eagerness to learn.Our research based programs are state approved and specifically designed to meet children where they are developmentally and then take them to that next level of learning through the use of hands on learning experiences. Our goal is to have each child leave our program and enter kindergarten with all the skills and tools needed to be successful learners.The staff at our school is simply the best group of dedicated, caring professionals in the field. They are specifically trained and devoted to giving each child the opportunity to grow and succeed.
