Glendale Presbyterian Preschool considers all aspects of a childs development, social, spiritual, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative, in planning a curriculum.

Play is an important avenue for learning as it allows for the whole child to develop. Through play, the child is able to experience, manipulate, create, experiment, explore, take risks and make choices in an atmosphere of pleasure. The environment is comprised of carefully chosen child-oriented, informal, self-selected activities based on the needs and interest and intended to help develop the whole child. Process learning helps to develop confidence and high self-esteem.

The adults display a loving, caring attitude and take joy in being able to participate in the development of the young child.
