Northside Community Center- Peabody Elementary Star Program

Each day, hundreds of St. Louis kids leave school at the end of the day with no adult supervision. Many of these children are home alone with no structured activities, nutritious meals or awareness of the inherent risks that confront unsupervised children. Northside Community Center, Inc. has joined the St. Louis Mental Health Board (MHB), the St. Louis Public Schools and ARCHS to develop and expand comprehensive after school programs for elementary school children in the City of St. Louis .
Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life of our clients by serving the basic needs of the elderly, children and families in the St. Louis Metropolitan area by providing; 1) Access to education, counseling and health services; 2) Recreation and social program; 3) Daily nutritional meals.
