Preschool at St. Dom’s is open to children on the autism spectrum as well as typically-functioning children, ages 2-5. The preschool is located on the SDSA campus, giving preschoolers access to our beautiful facility, including our 5,700 square foot playground. The program, taught and run by a certified special education teacher and early interventionist, is held daily from 8:30-3:00. Highlights of the program include:
- ABA-trained and experienced staff
- 3:1 student to staff ratio
- center and thematic based learning
- Daily instruction in reading, writing, math, language, and art
- Interventions based on verbal behavior to facilitate authentic communication
